Multi-agency Children's Safeguarding training for professionals working within the city boundaries was provided by Leicestershire and Rutland LSCB until 1st September 2011.
After 1st September 2011 Safeguarding Children Training was no longer provided under a joint arrangement with the County. This does not mean that safeguarding children training ends however. For more information on the arrangements from September please read this
Learning from Case Reviews - Briefing Events
Four half-day briefing sessions have been arranged to examine and explore what was learned from the various case review processes conducted by the Leicester Safeguarding Children Board in 2011 and how practice has changed as a result.
The briefings are open to relevant staff at various levels from partner agencies. The sessions will be held on 14th & 15th March 2012.
